Argen-Tango™ will take the audience on a tour through the exhilarating evolution of Tango Music and Dance, from its birth in 1880 through the present art form. They will also illustrate how these stages were directly related to the ever-changing social situation in Argentina. The program will combine recordings of the different orchestras and styles of music supported by live dance demonstrations of Tango, Vals, Milonga, Candombe and Canyengue. The audience will be invited to participate on the dance floor to experience the music and dance.
